Beau’s
For most promotional efforts brands tend to make videos to
show what is new and upcoming!
However for Beau’s is not like that, most of the time they
use Facebook, the last time that they had posted something on YouTube was 8
months ago.
This shows that they are more focused on creating events and
new beers then on advertising what they have. This can be seen as a hindrance
since they do not have a great following and this will not help them to gain
new followers.
Most of their videos showed their company and how they brew
their beer. As well, since it is a small company they do have some videos on
events that they had participated in.
Their most popular video had been one discussing the change
of ownership that they had. In it they discuss selling the company to the
employees, so that everyone has a share and a say in what gets done.
Coors
Everyone knows that Coors is a profitable company that has
high promotional efforts. They post videos quite frequently and about various
things.
The most recent video they had posted was three weeks ago
and was based on snowboarding in Canada. A good variety of their videos are
promoting Canada and what it means to be Canadian.
They also have a vast
number of videos promoting their Coors light games that show what they do and
how many people generally show up. One of their most popular videos is called
the journey, it is about braving the cold across Canada and showing various
activities that promote a sense of togetherness.
